The Islamic State desires a global caliphate just as the Nazis sought world domination. The Germans exterminated millions of Jews; Isis tortures, beheads and rapes its victims. The hard truth is the only way to stop Isis is to work with Russia’s Vladimir Putin and other tyrants, just as the U.S. did with Josef Stalin to defeat Hitler. But not a single candidate has the guts to say it.
