But in truth, NBA owners use college basketball as a free farm system.Here’s something you didn’t know: the rule turns a game intended for university students into a competition between semi-pros with no interest in getting a degree. If the NCAA and college presidents had any integrity, they’d demand the NBA end the age limit charade and they’d refuse to accept “one and done” players who are only in school biding time until they turn 19.
